Kelis Thinks Knight Is “Kinda Perfect”

New mom Kelis has taken to Twitter to boast about her new little man.

“Ok so I did it, he’s 7.8 pounds of the greatest stuff on earth” says the 29-year-old singer.

“I was in labor for 3 of the longest most painful days of my life. I don’t understand when women say they don’t remember giving birth. I will remember for the rest of my life.”

Kelis gave delivered her son at a New York hospital on July 22.

Knight’s father, Nas, 35, was recently ordered to pay nearly $40,000 a month in support to Kelis, who filed for divorced from the rapper in April. The couple had been married since July 2003.
