Ellen Pompeo In Seattle Grace Scrubs

Katherine Heigl and an expectant Ellen Pompeo were spotted filming scenes for this season's Grey's Anatomy in Los Angeles on Tuesday (July 28). It looks like Ellen's Seattle Grace scrubs fit her baby bump! Ellen and her husband Chris Ivery are expecting their first child this October.

There are rumors of a wedding in the season opener. Maybe the post-it ceremony didn't do it for Meredith?

And what about show creator Shonda Rhimes' wishes for Meredith to continue as the main character?

"I clearly want Mer Grey on the show for as long as Ellen Pompeo wants to be on the show; that's not even a question," she told Entertainment Weekly. "I can't really picture Mer Grey not on the show. But I think there's a possibility of her leaving for good at some point." She continued: "It's going to be tricky. Ellen is incredibly optimistic and somehow thinks she'll be back and ready to rock 'n' roll. I have a child, so I know that that's not true."

I think she looks good. I love Ellen. I hope they write the pregnancy into the show.

There's no MD wedding. Shonda already has said in interviews that the post-it wedding was it and that there will be no wedding. So, if its a wedding its someone else.
