Report: Jude Law & Samantha Burke Haven't Spoken About Baby

Last week the surprising news broke that Jude Law is to be a dad again as an ex of the actor is expecting a baby girl in October. It was soon revealed that the baby's mom is 24-year-old aspiring actress Samantha Burke.

Though the Sherlock Holmes star said in a statement that he plans to be "a fully supportive part of the child’s life," a friend of the mom-to-be - who is seen here yesterday leaving lunch with her attorneys in Florida - says that the two have yet to actually speak about the pregnancy or baby.

"They don't speak," the friend tells the Daily News, adding the two only had "a brief affair."

"When Samantha found out she was pregnant, she left Jersey City and moved back home to Pensacola, Florida. She decided to keep the baby, but never expected Jude to have any part in the child's life. So she had her lawyer contact him in April, where they negotiated a settlement that should keep her pretty comfortable."

Jude is already dad to kids Rafferty, 12, Iris, 8 ½, and Rudy, 6 ½, with his ex-wife Sadie Frost, and stepson to her to 18-year-old son Finlay Munro.
