Bill Hader Is Going To Be A Father!

Saturday Night Live’s Bill Hader and wife Maggie Carey are expecting their first baby this fall!

The 31-year-old actor showed off his wife’s baby bump at Wednesday night’s premiere of Paper Heart in New York City.

“I’m really excited,” he told PEOPLE about becoming a father. “I think it’s going to be awesome.”

Though Bill won’t be the only SNL dad out there, come fall he will be the only current cast member with a child: “So everybody will have to understand when I’m really tired,” he joked. “Kidding – I’m actually handling it well.”

Bill says that his wife has been “great” throughout the pregnancy: “She’s awesome. Way tougher than I am.”

The couple doesn’t know whether they are having a boy or a girl, but Maggie was certain about one fact: “Bill's going to be a really cute dad!"

The couple, who are expecting their little bundle at the end of September, have been married since 2006.
