Marion & Tabitha Broderick: Greenwich Girls

Marion & Tabitha Broderick: Greenwich Girls

Cute times two! Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick's 2-month-old twins Marion and Tabitha were pretty in pink today while out for a stroll with their nanny in New York's Greenwich Village.

Busy mom SJP has been spotted in NYC this week as well as she gets back to work filming the second Sex and the City flick. Sarah Jessica and her Broadway star hubby are also parents to 6 1/2-year-old son James Wilke.

I thought "Marion" was the masculine spelling and "Marian" was the feminine spelling of that name.

Huh. You would think after having battles with fertility, and finally getting beautiful twins years and years later through a surrogate, SJP would spend at least a few months with them "nanny-less", you know...being a mom. Us normal girls do it and are blessed, you think she could give it a try. Just saying.

I don't know about you but SJP doesn't exactly have a "normal" job. Were you filming a movie four months after having your children? Put yourself in her shoes before you judge.

Moore said:

The good thing about her job is that she doesn't have to actually work as much. She could have stayed home longer if she wanted to. It's understandable that the movie has a schedule but as the main character and someone who knew she was planning to have more children, she could have negotiated something longer if she had wanted to.

Oh god, that stroller isnt doing good to babies back. the stroller is only recommended after 6 months when their backs are bit stronger when facing the bumps from the road.

They look big for 2 month.

a nanny taking them for a stroll is no different then a family member taking them for a few hours to let you get some sleep. They have twins, any newborn is hard. This doesn't make her less of a mother. Some people are so insanely ignorant.

Keri, that is true but my grandma (b. 1925) was named "Marion".

In Germany, it´s the other way round.... Marion is female and Marian is a male name....

Mike said:

In France, both Marion and Marianne are female.

Ak said:

Marion was originally a female name, from the name Mary. But now names that were from the other sex and some people use as it was "supposed" to be are regarded as the awkward ones (such as Taylor).

No Alma, the Maclaren Techno can be used from birth.
