A year after announcing their separation, things seem to be on the mend for longtime couple David Duchovny and Téa Leoni.
In Toronto this week to promote his new film, The Joneses, David tells People of his happy home life: “Everything is great.”
“I had to leave them this morning to come here – that’s tough,” the Californication star adds, referring to Téa (whom he calls “a great partner, wife, and mother”) and their kids Madelaine West, 10, and Kyd Miller, 7.
The proud dad says the foursome’s family vacation was definitely the highlight of his summer, saying, “Just being with my kids and watching them open up. Just watching them relate to new people and new experiences – it’s just great seeing them as little people.”
