Halle Berry Puts Baby Rumors To Rest

Well, it looks like Halle Berry isn't pregnant after all!

PEOPLE reports that when a svelte Halle Berry walked onto Jay Leno's stage Thursday, the host told her she looked terrific, to which she replied: "You know, thank you for that, Jay, because that must mean that pregnancy rumors can be put to bed!"

Sources at The Jay Leno Show taping tell the magazine that Berry, wearing a low-cut, short black dress and black thigh-high boots, told Leno with a laugh, "I was getting a complex! Because I was like, I've got to stop with the burgers or something!"

In addition to fending off pregnancy rumors, Berry told anecdotes about her 18-month-old daughter Nahla and meeting her hunky partner, Gabriel Aubry. Simply put, Berry gushed, "My daughter is fantastic."

I'm still not convinced. Celebrities "lie" all the time to maintain a certain amount of privacy. We'll see in a few months...

@ Franceca: NO WOMAN should announce their pregnancy until after the 3rd mo as the baby could self abort. Plus HB is 43 and has diabetes, so she wants to wait & make sure she is ok.

Celine Dion 's embryo was just implanted & she already announced she is pregnant. What if she miscarries? She is 41 so there is risk. Plus Celine has risk (like Halle) in that even in her 30s she couldnt get pregnant & had use 2 IVF. But the week after she was implanted she announced the pregnant, so if she miscarried it will be personal and public pain.

In short, Fran I agree totally w Halle is she is waiting & denying now.
