Paul Bettany & Jennifer Connelly Head For The Hills

Despite some stars' claims to the contrary, actor Paul Bettany says it is possible to avoid the glare of the spotlight.
“Some people in this business go, ‘I can’t go anywhere without the paparazzi’, but if you really want to you can find a way to go and be private," Paul says.
Case in point: A recent family vacation he enjoyed with his wife Jennifer Connelly and kids Kai, 11, and Stellan, 6.
“Three weeks ago me and my missus and the kids were covered in mud for three days, because we got rained on from a great height when we were camping in the White Mountains (in New Hampshire)… It’s like proper camping out in the wild with bear canisters - you have to go and put your food 800 yards away in case the bears smell it.... It’s entirely normal, the most unglamourous thing you can do. Everybody stinks, and you’re cold and you’re wet and yet you see things you’d never see from a car or a hotel room. You walk every day and you’re away from everything."
Paul and Jennifer, who wed in 2003, will soon be sharing the big screen in the new film, Creation.
