Nicole Richie Rocks At The Roxy

Nicole Richie Rocks At The Roxy

Whoa! Just two weeks after giving birth to her second child, son Sparrow James Midnight, Nicole Richie was spotted looking thin as usual! Was she even pregnant?!

The 28-year-old Simple Life star, her partner, Joel Madden and her 11-year-old sister Sofia (on crutches) were spotted at The Roxy in West Hollywood, CA on Friday (September 25).

Nicole tweeted about the outing: "Took my little sister to see @selenagomez 1st show; or she took me..."

Does Nicole's postpartum body inspire or depress you?

If only she'd remembered to change out of her silky pjs...

Very inspiring! It always motivates me to see people that are in shape.

She looks good but that outfit is a little loose around her belly. I bet that is still a little jiggly. I can't wait to see little Sparrow!! Joel looks as handsome as ever.

Yeah, that wrinkled get up needs to go and she needs a dye job badly....

inspires me, there's no reason not to lose the weight right away.

She looks like she just rolled out of bed! Nice PJ's!

What is up with those terrible shoes she is wearing?

What depresses me is the continuous media focus (i.e. like this story) on post partum weight- period. Like pregnancy, weight issues vary and it's relative to so many different factors. Women reading this 'Wow! She looks thin!' just feel worse about themselves. Entertainers have to look good immediately it's their job. They have lots of help often too (not saying this girl does for sure) but as a rule they have a team of experts to whip them back into shape. I think these kinds of stories perpetuate that unhealthy fixation.

okee, i'm the anonymous person who was wondering if that was Nicole's sister on the crutches...
i saw some pics from this set elsewhere, and that IS her sister, they were at a Selena Gomez concert.
Not the hottest date i can think of, but whatever you wanna call it.

Thats not date nite. She even posted on her twitter page, tha she took her sister to the Salema Gomez concert.
But this neither inspires me or depresses me. I know she has money to get back n shape. I have reality. I am pregnant with my first child, fairly healthy, not overweight, but a thick, normal woman. So, i will have to work a little harder to get my body back. But, I am more concerned about spending time with my new baby. Who cares how thin she is already? N plus that shirt is very loose.

Thanks for the tips everyone! I updated the post.

I just gave birth 7 weeks ago and nowhere close to what she looks like here and I agree with the above poster. She has all the resources to get back in shape quickly (the fact that she is thin to begin with and in public eye constantly adds the pressure) while we, "the commoners" have reality. Taking care of our babies is number 1 priority without any help from nannies/personal trainers/nutritionist and still manage to clean the house/work/cook and take care of our other children. THAT my friends, makes us better than these celebrities!!

I'd have to care in order to be depressed or inspired by her weight loss. It doesn't matter to me how she or any other celeb drops their post-pregnancy weight.

Well it does depress me a little bit but then again, she was basically anorexic pre-pregnancy. I had a real tough post-partum issue so it was especially hard for me to do any exercise. I don't really pay much attention to these celebrities post-partum bodies b/c I can't figure out how they don't get stretch marks and get even more skinnier after giving birth. They have alot of $ to spend on expensive creams and personal trainers. So..I kind of don't expect to EVER look like them!

dang, i was still bleeding heavily 2 weeks post-partum! I could never of worn those shorts! lol! Even if I was thin, but I gained 45 pounds, and still struggling to loose it and its been 3 1/2 months!

I doesn't depress me because Nicole didn't gain weight all over when she was pregnant. She was mostly all belly and has always had nice legs and arms and thats all that your seeing here. Im more then 100% sure that there is jiggle behind that loose fitting shirt and not a flat stomach. Just because she has money doesn't mean shes just running out of the house and running to the gym or you would of seen pics. When Nicole had Harlow you didn't see her or the baby for 2 months and then all the pics of her were of her, Joel and Harlow in a stroller taking walks. Im sure shes not hitting the gym before 6 weeks as recommended and if shes breastfeeding like she did with Harlow then shes probably eating the same plain diet of soup, veggies, and fish. She already has said that they don't have nannies and they have there parents and family help out with Harlow and im sure they'll do the same with Sparrow. And i see nothing wrong with her spending the time she has away from her children going to the gym and trying to get back in shape when the 6 weeks is up and she chooses too. I know moms now that aren't famous and dont have tons of money and they still get to the gym and work their butts off.

I have to say it does depress me. I was a size 0 with a rockin' body before I gave birth and it will never be the same again. I'm happy for her though, some people just have really good genes! A friend of mine was the same way. 2 weeks after having her son she was back in her skinny jeans. :-) Guess we can't all be skinny minnys. :-)

I agree with one of the anons. I too was bleeding and even if I had the body to wear that I would never have the guts to do so. I would be too scared!
