Report: Jude Law Requests DNA Test

Jude Law has refused to see his newborn daughter Sophia until a DNA test proves he is the father, contact music reports.

Aspiring actress Samantha Burke just gave birth to baby Sophia on Tuesday (Sept. 22) after a brief romance with Jude earlier this year while he was filming Sherlock Holmes in New York.

Law had publicly vowed to "be a fully supportive part of the child’s life," but new claims say he is not planning to see baby Sophia until he has DNA evidence:

"Jude is still very cautious about Sam and Sophia. Until he is 100 per cent certain she is his daughter he is only communicating through lawyers," a source says. "If he is the father he will meet his obligations to the child. He's hoping for an early chance to establish that he is genuinely her dad."
