The Biggest Loser's Sean Algaier & Wife To Name Baby After Trainer

The Biggest Loser participant Sean Algaier and his pregnant wife Misty have announced that they will be naming their baby girl after trainer Jillian Michaels.

“We debated about it for a while,” Sean tells ET. “There is definitely a cheese factor that comes into this. I just let [Jillian] know, saying, ‘We don’t idolize you. We love you, but we feel this is a good way to remember and mark and incredibly important time in our lives.”

“We are the type of people who like to remember awesome times in our life. Jillian is an awesome person and she did amazing things with us,” adds Sean. “Every time we say the name Jillian and every time we see our little girl, even when she is 30, we will look back and say, ‘That is a time when daddy changed his life.’”

Sean, who has lost 150lbs from his 444lbs start weight, goes on to say that the most important lesson he learned on The Biggest Loser is that he has to take care of himself and make time to exercise and eat right: “My wife was very overweight when she got pregnant, and she has consistently lost weight every month during her pregnancy to where she is in the healthy portion of her weight right now. She lost 3-4 pounds each month during this pregnancy. [The doctor said], 'You are not under your target weight and the baby is healthy.' It is because my wife's diet changed.”

The Biggest Loser is currently airing Tuesdays on NBC.
