Suri Cruise Is A Pink & Purple Princess

Katie Holmes and her adorable daughter Suri, 3 1/2, were full of smiles today (October 7) while out and about in Boston. The pair were joined by Katie's mom Kathleen Stothers as they did some shopping and stopped for ice cream at Quincy Market.

Katie picked up her tired tot for a cuddle when she eventually ran out of steam. So sweet!

The mother-daughter duo have often been spotted in Boston this month while dad Tom Cruise works on his new movie, Witchita.

Suri is so cute! She's such a beautiful little girl!

Instead of wrapping her up in a blanket like that half the time, she should strongly recommend a coat for poor Suri.

What a little cutie! I guess that's what beautiful parents will do for ya.

it is just riddiculous, to dress up a little kid like that. does she know life's not about clothes?!

What is wrong with how she is dressed? She is wearing a shirt, a sweater a skirt and shoes. They are colorful and cute. I see little girls dressed like this all the time. Pink and purple are little girl colors. It was sunny and 65 in Boston yesterday. Why does she need a coat?

Eric said "I guess that's what beautiful parents will do for ya". Kate is not beautiful and Tom is far from that. This kid is nothing but a spoiled little brat who calls all the shots. They will have their hands full when she gets older.

She dresses Suri like that because she's a girly girl! Get off it already, jeez. You're not supposed to dress your children like warriors but nobody seemed to have a problem with Shiloh dressed like one. They're KIDS!! Kids wear crazy, dress up outfits all the time. Suri is a happy, beautiful child and that's all that matters.

being a girly girl doesn't always necessarily mean to dress your child up FANCY all the time. what's wrong with jeans, a nice t shirt, and a pair of flats?

She looks like a normal kid who likes to dress up. Nothing special - but to her parents she should be.

I may be the odd one out here, but Suri's outfit here is pretty casual compared to what I've seen her in over the years. She looks like she dressed herself, which would explain the mismatched look, and I doubt there's anything under $100 in her closet so she will never look as casually dressed as, say, Violet Affleck.

It looks to me like she dresses herself, which is fine. The only thing that the parents should insist on is weather-appropriate clothing. So Suri shouldn't need a blanket if she was appropriately dressed. Maybe Katie can let Suri choose from 2-3 options that are weather-appropriate instead, that way Suri still gets to choose and she's dressed comfortably.

@Romeo Blue, how do you know she's a spoiled brat?? Do Tom/Katie complain to you personally about Suri?? How could you possibly get all that from pictures and the very FEW words Tom or Katie have had to say on the subject of raising their child??? I'm not the biggest fan of this family myself, they seem very fake to me- but to just sit up and complain for complaining's I see absolutely nothing wrong with what Suri's wearing. It almost looks like she dressed herself, what's fancy or inappropriate about it? It seems to me that people just look at pics of Suri and decide to pick a topic about her that's already been beaten to death on this blog, and proceed to bash away- if it's not her dress, it's her hair/bang length. If it's not her hair length, it's that she doesn't walk on her own. And if it's not that, it's that she's freezing to death with no coat, poor thing! Nothing original, people can't just look at each picture for what it is- it's people LOOK for the aforementioned things to complain about. I happen to think these are very sweet pics of Suri and her mom... if I were Katie, I'd want them for my personal collection. That child looks healthy and loved and beyond that, I can't say much else. Everyone's entitled to their own opinions, but geez, people, lighten up!

Anyone who has or has parented a 3 year old knows that the child has definite likes and dislikes at that age. Romeo you sound like an idiot.
