Gwen Stefani Gets Gorgeous

Mom-of-two Gwen Stefani enjoyed an evening out on her own last night, attending the Fashion Group International’s 2009 Night Of Stars in New York (October 22).
The 40-year-old No Doubt star was minus her signature bold red lips, but looked gorgeous as always in a short black halter dress paired with black tights and heels.
Gwen has said in the past that her fascination with fashion started in childhood: "I've always loved beauty. I was the girl who was like, 'Ask your mom if we can play with clothes or makeup.' I could do that for hours."
It seems likely the L.A.M.B. designer will pass her sense of style on to her boys Kingston, 3, and Zuma, 1. They always look so adorable!

She looks so much better without that bright lipstick!
That was the first thing I thought when I saw these pictures! I think she's pretty either way, but she looks much better with neutral lips.
