It’s A Girl For New York Knick Al Harrington And Wife

Al Harrington is enjoying a very exciting autumn this year. In September, the 29-year-old New York Knicks married longtime girlfriend Michelle and this month they welcomed their first child – a baby girl named Amaya, reports Newsday.com.

No specifics of the birth have been released, though recently the proud new dad revealed that his wife’s due date was October 22nd.

In August, when asked about his summer plans, the forward-center told NBA.com: “I am really focusing hard on the season, and my wife is pregnant this summer so we haven’t really been able to go anywhere. I’ve just been here in the city working out, but I did go to Vegas for two weeks to train. But I couldn’t wait to come back to be with her. It’s my first kid. A little baby girl.”
