Jennifer Garner & Seraphina's School Run
Adorable Seraphina Rose joined her mom Jennifer Garner on the school run today (November 12), picking up big sister Violet from her Santa Monica preschool. The multi-tasking mama managed to juggle her 10-month-old daughter, sunglasses and school bags, all the while chatting on her cell phone.
Earlier this week Jen was spotted on a girls' night out at Hollywood's Madeo restaurant with her fellow leading lady Jessica Biel. Jessica recently confessed to having a "girl crush" on the Catch & Release star, saying, "My girl crush is Jen Garner at the moment (but) here's the thing with girl crushes: it's more of a respect thing. It's like, you're beautiful, you're cool, you look and seem like somebody I would want to hang out with and your career is awesome."
I have always wondered about Seraphinas hair color. Its brown just like Jen and Ben's,but Violets hair is blonde. Did one of her parents have their hair dyed or is someone else in the family blonde and it skipped a generation or isomething lol. does this happen often?Sorry if this is a stupid question. Ben's mom is blond.
Ben was as blond as Violet as a child (see People.com under Ben Affleck)
Jen's hair as a child was light brown

Molly, the genes for blond hair (and blue eyes) are recessive. Meaning that neither parent has to have those colors (since their dominant dark gene took over), but those genes can still be passed on to the baby.
Does she really need a nanny to pick Violet up from school?

OMG this is such a sweet family! They are so down to earth and Jen sems like a great mom. Violet seems like the happiest girl in the world and Seraphina seems so sweet as well. I also love the name Seraphina. This is my favourite holloywood family!

why the hell is violet being CARRIED? you can tell she has major separation issues with her mom and jealousy issues with her little sister. violet got jen's unattractive simian-like looks.
Perhaps she's being carried because they're surrounded by paparazzi. I know that if there were a group of predators around I'd be carrying my children! The paparazzi HAVE been known to take things too far. There ARE pictures of her walking, skipping, and running. I wouldn't assume she has major separation issues :P I think Violet is a pretty baby, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. This family seems like a lovely one from what I can tell. Wonder if they'd adopt me..... :)

Beautiful children. Violet's hair was light brown when she was Sera's age. Shortly after her first birthday it turned blond. Both Ben and Jen were blond as toddlers. By the time Vi starts kindergarten, her hair will probably be brown again. I'm curious to see if Sera's hair will also get lighter when she gets older. I have a friend that was blond until she was five yrs old and today as an adult her hair is almost black.
And Amanda, that lady is not a nanny, she is a long time friend of Jen's. I don't think she is working as their nanny. For the records, they do however have at least one and maybe even two nannies.
I think Seraphina looks more like Jen that Ben and Violet looks more like Ben. Vi has Ben's deep set eyes whereas Sera's are more like Jennifer's. Both babies have dimples (like mom) and cleft chins (like dad). Both of gorgeous kids, perfect mix of both parents.
I know a lot of blonde youngsters who have dark-haired parents. They start off with blonde hair as a child but it turns dark as they get older. I've seen it happen many times. As for my own daughter, we both have olive skin, brown eyes and brown hair, she has very blonde hair..... I am assuming it will get darker as she gets older. My youngest has dark hair!

omg! I thought Violet was the prettiest and sincere(st) baby/ kid around, but seems like Seraphine is going to dethrone her. Sera is so much cuter !
