Bret McKenzie Is “Figuring Out Fatherhood”
| Nov 16, 2009 by DESIREE FAWN |

Flight of the Conchords star Bret McKenzie, who welcomed his first baby – a daughter named Vita - with publicist wife Hannah three months ago, reveals to the New Zealand Herald that he has been “figuring out fatherhood” ever since.
“Um, I’ve got a lot of room to improve,” says the 33-year-old actor/singer. “It seems like it’s quite a long-terms commitment.”
Baby Vita, whose name means “life” in Italian, has already shown her celebrity baby prowess in accompanying her parents to the Emmy Awards in September: “She was amazing,” Bret beams. “She was handing out the lollies and everything and she can’t even hold anything yet.”
Bret’s Flight of the Conchords costar Jemaine Clement and wife Miranda Manasiadis also have a son, Sophocles Iraia, who celebrated his first birthday last month.
