Keith Urban Wants Sunday Rose To Follow In His Footsteps

According to Us, Keith Urban is keeping his fingers crossed in hopes that his 16-month-old daughter, Sunday Rose, will become a singer just like her dad.

“She’s got some pipes,” says Keith. “I think she sounds quite musical. I sit at the piano with her in the morning and we mash the keys together.”

The 42-year-old country crooner, who married Nine star Nicole Kidman in 2006, says he was honored to have her in the audience at Sunday’s American Music Awards: “I’ve never won anything with Nic sitting in the audience before. It was beautiful to have [Nicole] there tonight. She’s such a huge inspiration for everything I do.”

Keith took home the award for Favourite Male Country Artist, which he dedicated to his wife and daughter.
