All Jon Voight Wants For Christmas Is To Meet Brad & Angie’s Twins

Jon Voight seemed to be getting into the Christmas spirit as he spoke with OK! about his daughter, Angelina Jolie, and her family, at the Celebrity Fantasy Auction and Gala in New York City yesterday (November 23).

“Oh I have piles of presents,” says Jon. “I’m a real spoiler.”

Sadly, Jon hasn’t yet met his 1 ½-year-old twin grandchildren, Vivienne and Knox: “I haven’t. I honestly haven’t,” he explains. “That will be my Christmas wish.”

The 70-year-old actor, who recently reconciled with his daughter after a seven year estrangement, says that when it comes to children he’s a “real softy”:

I read all the books about discipline and I do think that discipline is important too. I think I’m good that way too. If anybody’s out of line I can straighten it out. But I usually do it with humor rather than the harsh hand.

He goes on to say that he is very proud of the humanitarian work that Angelina is doing, but adds: “I don’t know much about that so I can’t talk about that.”

Earlier this month Jon told Us Weekly that though he and his daughter are on speaking terms again, they are not in touch regularly: “We love each other and that’s the most important thing.”
