Katie Holmes and her 3 ½-year-old daughter Suri were spotted on the set of her latest film The Romantics in Long Island, New York on Tuesday (November 24). Wearing her new boots, Suri was wrapped up in a blanket as mom carried her outside.

People reports that after some perusing in Soho Baby last weekend, Katie bought her daughter those cute rain boots, a matching backpack and little stuffed giraffe. "[Suri] was wearing nice dress shoes and she took them off and put the rain boots on," a store employee says, adding that "[Katie] was very nice." The source adds Suri was "quiet [but] she was smiling."

One day in a babyblanket, the other day on heels...

It's clear from these pictures that Suri is cold and freezing. Then why not use a real coat instead of that baby blanket?
And it has been asked before, but really what happened to Katie Holmes? She looks so dull and drab in every single picture I see of her. Not one genuine smile in a very long time.

Katie turned into a very strange person since marrying that weirdo Tom Cruise.

Put a coat on this kid. Where are her baby bottle and heels? These people are nuts!

Apparently, Katie can't do anything right. Just like Jennifer Garner can't do anything wrong.

Does Katie not believe in a coat or something? ALWAYS wrapping her kid up in a blanket. Such strange peopleeeeeeee and no I'm not exaggerating either thank you very much!!

If I see a picture of Suri shaking with cold, I will complain. Suri is 3 going to 4, she would ask if she was cold wouldn't she? Enough about coats, some children simply hate them.

I used to think the Suri without a coat debate was pretty ridiculous with people getting in such an uproar. Now though it just seems strange that they don't make her wear a coat. It's getting cold and this child needs a coat even if she doesn't like it. Some kids hate school but does that mean their parents shouldn't make them go? Of course not.

I always thought the coat debate was a bit much, too. I would always say, that if Suri was cold, she'd let it be known. But, obviously she IS cold (at least, sometimes), and they wrap her in a blanket instead? That is a little odd. It would be much easier to put a coat on her instead of wrapping her in a blanket and carrying her, right?
