Nicolas Cage Being Sued By Mother Of His Child

Christina Fulton, Nicholas Cage’s ex-girlfriend and mother of his 18-year-old son Weston, is suing the Face/Off actor for over $13 million, TMZ reports. Court papers filed on Tuesday (December 8) state that Fulton is suing Cage, his business manager Samuel J. Levin and others for breach of contract and fraud regarding a home that Cage bought for Fulton.

Why now? Problems began brewing several months ago when Fulton attempted to sell the house and realized that the title was still in Cage's name. Fulton says that Cage pledged to sign over the house to her, which he failed to do. Cage has since served her with a notice to vacate the property.

Fulton further alleges that due to Cage's negligence, she is now in debt of more than $1 million to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as well as $250,000 in credit card debt.

Cage's lawyer, Martin Singer, said the claim is "absurd." "This lawsuit is ridiculous and absurd. Nicolas has given her approximately $3 million every year for many years, even though he was only obligated to pay her $6,000-a-month in child support. We expect this lawsuit to be promptly thrown out."

Fun fact: Cage owes $6.3 million in back taxes, which has led him to sell off many of his assets including properties and yachts. Furthermore, some of Cage's purchases are a 67-million-year-old dinosaur skull which cost $276,000, as well as a $495,000 Lamborghini, a jet, two yachts, three castles, two islands in the Bahamas and numerous mansions.
