According to Jude Law – who plays the character of Dr. Watson in his latest film, Sherlock Holmes – the most important role in his life is being a father.
“Being a daddy is what counts,” he tells PARADE. “I’ve been busy rehearsing that in real life for more than 10 years.”
The 37-year-old actor admits that being a dad has changed him in many ways:
I used to sleep until noon, but it’s not so bad to have to get up at 7 and give them breakfast. My daughter made me realize that if there’s anything that’s going to make a man of you, it’s having your will broken by a little girl.
Jude is father to three children – Rudy, 7, Iris, 9, and Rafferty, 13 – with ex-wife Sadie Frost, and one child – 3-month-old Sophia – with ex-girlfriend Samantha Burke.
Does he mean that regarding Sophia, too? Has he even seen her yet?
Hope he is a good dad because he was a terrible husband!
Has he seen his fourth child? Not sure….but if he hasn’t then I don’t know how he would feel comfortable making the statement about how being a dad is the most important role…that would include ALL his children.
Oh! Please! Of couse, he is going to make differences between the children he chose to have with a woman he loved (and married) and the child that was imposed on him by a greedy ex-girl friend looking for a meal ticket!!!

The reason he probably doesnt want to see his 4th child, Sophia is because, Samantha Burke was a one night fling which was obviously a mistake. He may have kept in contact with Samantha Burke if she acted like a proper woman instead of selling all her pregnancy baby photos and stories to the tabloids and making Jude Law a public spectacle. Jude doesn’t have contact with her but he does pay the adequate child support. All Samantha Burke is, is another bimbo model who is nothing but a gold digger.
