Matthew McConaughey, 40, and girlfriend Camila Alves, 26, have welcomed a daughter!
Baby girl Vida was born early this morning (January 3) at 12:13 a.m., weighing 7lbs., 7oz., announced Matthew on his website.
“Vida is Portuguese for “life” and that’s what God gave us this morning,” writes Matthew. “Camila’s recovering wonderfully and we are both truly honored to welcome this little lady into our family. Thanks for all of your well wishes and prayers along the way, another blessed day, we give thanks.”
Little Vida joins big brother Levi, 17-months, at home.
Camila and Matthew, who have been dating since 2006, first announced the pregnancy in June.

Congratulations to all McConaughey-Alves family! Both Matt and Camila must be over the moon by their daughter´s birth. Vida is a beautiful name and certainly suits this little girl wonderfully. Levi must be really thrilled to have a baby sister. It doesn´t matter which one of her parents Vida reminds more. The main thing is that she´s healthy. Still I secretly wish that she reminds Matt. Levi is a mix of both of his parents. The coloring of his skin comes from Camila but otherwise he´s all Matt.

Actually no your wrong because I go by facial expressions not by coloring, and he favors a bit more of Camila. But anyways congrats to the couple!
