Beyonce: I "Definitely" Want Kids - But Not Yet

"Bootylicious" singer Beyonce dazzles in the February issue of Allure magazine.

As one half of Hollywood's top-earning couple - she and her hubby Jay Z reportedly raked in a combined $122 million last year - the 28-year-old megastar is used to managing a hectic schedule. But it sounds as though Beyonce is ready to take a break from work - and perhaps to switch her focus to family.

"I definitely want to have a child, but I know from my nephew it's a lot," she tells Allure. "I hope that those things will just happen naturally. I still haven't had time to relax."

Along with spending time with her little sister Solange's son Daniel, Beyonce is content for now to be a role model to the millions of young girls and women who look up to her. It's a responsibility she doesn't take lightly.

“Growing up in a female group and in a hair salon, I have always been passionate about women," she reveals. "I just think we need each other, and the things that inspire me to write songs are things that I think women need to hear. I’m happy to be a voice, one of the many. I’m happy to be, in some way, a role model.”
