Roger Federer’s “Very Special” Grand Slam

Tennis pro Roger Federer dominated at the Australian Open on Sunday (January 31) and claimed the 16th grand slam of his record breaking career. This victory was of particular importance to the proud father-of-two.

“I have played some of the best tennis [of my life] in the last two week,” he told the crowd. “This is very special because it’s my first grand slam as a father.”

Roger and wife Mirka welcomed twin daughters, Charlene Riva and Myla Rose, in July 2009.

Congratulations on the win!

roger is by far my fav. tennis player, and then its novak djokovic who is adorable, especially when he imitates maria sharapova, who, IMO, is just so-so. But i felt a little bad for andy murray, especially when he kinda broke down. Cos u hardly see men cry and when they do, u know it hurts really bad. when i saw roger cry last year, i almost did the same! nevertheless, myla and charlene are adorable. and the four of them are the perfect fam.
