Angelina Jolie just returned from a three-day trip to Haiti, where she visited an SOS Villages camp for orphaned children.
While the 34-year-old Goodwill Ambassdor was there, she spoke via satellite with CNN's Christiane Amanpour who asked if she and her longtime partner, Brad Pitt, plan to adopt a Haitian child.
I'm always open to children around the world. We're that kind of a family; Brad and I talk about that," Angelina said. "But that's not what we're focusing on at this time, by any means. We're not here for that."

Will someone stop her and others like her from stealing other (i.e., "poor") women's babies?
So she feels sorry for the haiti children, what a crock she wants to adopt one of them now, maybe she should be fair and bail them all out since....she is angelina jolie and "she" can. What about the other people who would love a child from haiti?

i'm not a fan of angelina jolie... but i really don't agree with the first anonymous that said she is "stealing other women's babies"... she has adopted her children from orphanages; they were placed there because they were unwanted by their parents (for whatever reason), right? she wasn't ripping them from their parents' arms! not to point fingers, but i think a more apt example of someone "stealing a baby" would be madonna's rather dubious adoption of mercy-- who had a family (and a grandmother who loved her) right? i admit i don't know all the details, but that's how it seems to me!
Wow did the first two commenters even read the article...... She said she is always open to adopt, but thats not why they are there. They are there to help them.... Wow people really need to learn to comprehend things. It's sad how dumb people can be.
the hatred for this woman is amazing She never said she was adopted a child from Haiti which btw takes years and you have to be married. AJ was there as a UN ambassador learning about the child trafficimg that's going on there. she supports Sos Villages which take care of orphans in their country until they become adults, The entire CNN interview is on youtube and will be broadcast again on CNN Sundat 2pm EST. Btw if you are interested adopt from the foster care system in America there is no cost. Keep in mind the children are older and most of them are Black or Hispanic
