Tourists out for a stroll in Venice, Italy, on Monday (February 22) were in for a surprise when they spotted Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt out and about with their 19-month-old twins! The A-list couple have kept twins Vivienne and Knox almost completely hidden since their July 2008 birth.
“It was such a surprise to see the twins,” one eyewitness tells Life & Style. “They’ve gotten so much bigger since the last time the world saw them — they’re like little kids and not babies anymore. And I couldn’t believe how much they look like big sister Shiloh, especially with those lips!”
While sightseeing in the city of canals on Tuesday (February 16), Brangelina and their eldest four kids - Maddox, 8, Pax, 6, Zahara, 5, and Shiloh, 3 1/2 - stopped for ice cream at La Gelateria Lo Squero. “They seemed very peaceful, happy,” co-owner Beatrice Zennaro says. “I read in the newspapers that they were having problems, but it didn’t seem the case.”
So what's with the hiding? “Friends and family see the twins all the time,” notes a family insider. “Brad and Angelina have large homes that allow for playing and running and exploring. If you had a château in France or a mansion in LA, you wouldn’t need to take the kids out much either.”

with hoards of photographers waiting outside my house I wouldn't take 2 babies out with 4 older children either o_O
I'm sure they are just protecting the babies and I'm with the source -- obviously friends and family see the twins all the time. Just because the paparazzi hasn't seen them doesn't mean the family doesn't.
its quite funny cause I hate the pavarazzi, they talk about stars as if they aint human they just wanna good story and if they dont get it they tell lies about stars. Its awsome that Ang an Brad have kept the twins out of the lime light and like you say people have seen them out in public and see that the family is good, healthy and happy, thats what counts in any family as long as they are happy.
I give it up to Ang and Brad for having so many children it is good to see big familys again and so good to see the mix of races in the family at least they aint racist.

I would hate to have this be true, but the twins do look a little Down Syndrome-ish. I hope this is not so.

My little brother has Down Syndrome and in my opinion neither of the twins looks like they have it. But even if they do, who cares? They're just two cute kids!
Angelina and Brad, gossip and bad news, sell a lot of papers and magazines, and you both and your beautiful kids are target . Money, power, beauty, charism and success cause great envy, and you have it all! Nasty people hate it! Keep up your great work as professionals, parents and serving the ones in need, stand up high, shake your shoulders for those kind of comments and enjoy life and all the blessing God provides for you all, Vivi and Knox are absolutely gorgeous! They are babies, most babies have round faces, they are just the way God made them....and I wish their hearts are as beautiful as yours Angie, that's what really matter....
I hope people forget about it soon, and focus in their lives or comment about the difference Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt make in this world....
