Alice in Wonderland has yet to hit theaters, but the film is already earning rave reviews from the cast’s kids.
Helena Bonham Carter, who is married to the movie’s director Tim Burton and plays the Red Queen, says her 2-year-old daughter Nell is a fan.
“Our 2-year-old is up for anything,” she says, adding that when the pair were watching Tim give an interview on TV recently, “[Nell] wasn’t really interested in seeing daddy. She wanted to see the monsters again.”
As for the couple’s 6-year-old son Billy, the Fight Club star reveals, “Billy’s going to see it tonight. It could be a disaster because he’s 6 and he’s sensitive. [But] he saw it being made so he knows it’s pretend.”
Helena’s co-star Johnny Depp‘s kids Lily-Rose, 10, and Jack, 7, also got a sneak preview of the much-hyped flick.
“My kids actually saw the film because I send them out there in the frontlines,” the 46-year-old actor says. “They saw it – and they loved it. They absolutely adored it. They loved every character. They weren’t freaked out by it whatsoever.”
