Jim Carrey’s Daughter Jane Welcomes Baby Boy Jackson Riley!

Jane Carrey, daughter of Canadian funnyman, Jim Carrey, and husband Alex Santana have welcomed their first child!

Baby boy Jackson Riley arrived Friday (February 26) at 12:28am in Los Angeles, reports PEOPLE. He weighed in at 7lbs, 11oz, and measured 20 inches in length.

During her pregnancy, the 22-year-old Jane Carrey Band singer expressed how happy she was to be expecting:

I’ve always wanted to be a mother… and I’ve always wanted to do music, so to have the two together, it’s just awesome, it’s a dream come true.

Her father was also ecstatic about the news, saying, “Jane is going to be a great mom.”

Late Tuesday night, Jim, 47, took to Twitter with a cryptic message: “something beautiful is right around the corner!” We can only assume little Jackson was the “something beautiful” he was talking about!

Congratulations to the entire Carrey-Santana family!

Congratulations to the whole family but especially to Jane Carrey! The whole family must be really excited about this new family member. Especially granddad Jim. It´s hard to imagine Jim as a grandfather since he isn´t that old yet. Also Jenny McCarthy must be thrilled to be a grandmother. Although Jane isn´t her own daughter she certainly loves Jane a lot. Jackson is soooo lucky to have such a wonderful and funny granddad as Jimi Carrey. This duo sure will have a wonderful time in the future. Jane will be a wonderful mum. Can´t wait to see pics of the Carrey family out with little Jackson!
