Such a sweet pair! Maggie Gyllenhaal and her adorable 3-year-old daughter Ramona were all smiles near their Brooklyn, New York home on Sunday (February 28). Papa Peter Sarsgaard was spotted just ahead of the girls.
Maggie has been nominated for an Academy Award for her role in Crazy Heart. The 32-year-old mother of one talked about how she was drawn to the script.
I had an almost 2-year old when I got the script, and I had work some [since giving birth] but not really on anything that was totally consuming in the way that I was used to working. I’d been focusing so much on my daughter and it kind of got to this point where I needed something for myself. And Crazy Heart was it. I read the script and I just really kind of got it. I really felt drawn to it."

How cute. Ramona is a carbon copy of her dad.
I agree, Anon. But is there a stronger way to say "carbon copy"?? Looking at Ramona, it would be easy to believe cloning has been perfected, especially in that third photo.
They're raising this little girl the right way. She looks like a normal, happy little girl. No glitz. I love Maggie Gyllenhaal as an actress.
OMG! Ramona has grown a lot! It´s hard to believe that she´s already 3 years old. She looks a lot like both of her parents. I can see both pap Peter and mum Maggie in her little angelic face. It´s wonderful to see that she is such a happy and normal little girl. She is nothing like Suri Cruise. No offence to Suri fans but I really love to see a child who´s so down-to-earth and wears "normal" clothes. The whole Saarsgard-Gyllenhaal family is one of those rare Hollywood families that are very down-to-earth.
