Singer Keyshia Cole has welcomed a boy, Us reports.
The 28-year-old Playa Cardz Right singer and her fiance, Cleveland Cavaliers player Daniel Gibson "are proud to announce the birth of their beautiful baby boy, Daniel Hiram Gibson Jr.," her rep states. This is the first child for the R&B star.
Daniel Jr. was born Tuesday (March 2) at 11:54 p.m. and weighed in at 7 lbs. 3 oz.
"Both mother and baby are doing great," her rep says. "The proud couple would like to thank everyone for giving them privacy during this special time. Keyshia would also like to give a special thank you to her fans that have been with her since the beginning sharing in her growth as a woman and an artist."
Cole and Gibson became engaged on New Year's Eve. "When he asked her to marry him, she was flabbergasted... her mouth dropped in amazement," her rep says. "It's too beautiful for words."
