Okay, that’s just stalkerish and wrong. People get a life and let celebrities live their own!

My family was in Los Angeles about a year ago. I didn’t realize that it was the park for celebrities. I just wanted a nice clean park in Los Angeles (It is hard to find clean and safe places in most of Los Angeles) . I didn’t see any celebrities that I know of. But, I wasn’t looking. I did see a single paparazzi on a bike. The Los Angles Police Department made the go away.

But, this park was wonderful!!! It was clean, the play structure was not to large (easy to watch both kids). They had a large grass area where the kids could run around like crazy. Their was also this little man made stream running through the park that the kids could play in. We did have a wonderful day in the park!!! I would say one of the best parks we have been to.

Right so if it’s a celebrity park then I assume they’re aware of the paparazzi. No?

It’s kind of sad that there “it” places to take your kids if you’re a celeb. This park and that Mr. Bones Pumpkin patch around Halloween – there are paps swarming those places because they KNOW celebs take their kids to those parks. It’s like going to Nobu or something – you only go there if you want to make extra sure you get seen (and all the better if you have your cute little kid with you.) I was so surprised to see Halle there since she’s always made such a fuss about keeping Nahla out of the public eye as much as possible. Guess it’s not so important anymore. Sad, sad, sad.

To 5:58–I completely agree. I’ve commented before on this blog that celebs who take their kids to Coldwater Creek Park are fame-whoring their kids, but I’ve been shouted down on that idea. Now here’s an article that admits its the case. I think Isla Fisher is a worse offender than Halle Berry. She made the same sorts of statements about keeping Olive out of the public eye, but when Confessions of a Shopaholic was being promoted she was at this park and in front of all the kids’ store that the stars and the paps frequent. Then after the movie came out, she and Olive disappeared. It’s hard to believe that was a coincidence. I bet that we’ll see loads of Olive again next time Isla has a chick flick to promote.

Valley Park in Hermosa Beach is an awesome place to take the kids in the Los Angeles area.

We live right by this park and it is a really wonderful park. However, we have had a few bad experiences with celebrities and the paparazzi and generally go to other parks now. The paps are all over the place and it has disturbed a lot of parents and even their kids when they swarm up on the playground. It always surprises me that the celeb parents seem to welcome the attention (or at least the ones I have seen there.)
