Jennifer Hudson: "I’m Just Loving Being A Mom"

Enjoying a night out at Elton John’s annual Oscar bash on Sunday, proud mama Jennifer Hudson was happy to give an update on her 7-month-old son David.

“He’s great. He’s [steadily] growing,” the Dreamgirls star told Access Hollywood. “He’s crawling now.”

Now that he's on the move, little David seems to think he's found the perfect playmates in the family's dogs.

“He’s always trying to play with them and he thinks he’s one of them. He even growls like the dogs and I’m like, ‘Are you growling?’" she laughs. “We were just on the plane the other day and he was growling at the broccoli that he was playing with. He was like, ‘Arrrrr!’ He growls at the other babies and he think that’s how you’re supposed to communicate.”

From the sounds of it Jennifer is enjoying every moment of motherhood: “I’m just loving being a mom."
