Good Will Hunting star Ben Affleck and his 4-year-old daughter Violet were spotted out and about in Santa Monica, Calif. on Saturday (March 13).
Meanwhile, Ben's wife Jennifer Garner and their 14-month-old daughter Seraphina were spotted heading off to a children's event that same day.
Ben's BFF Matt Damon recently talked about moving closer to Ben, Jen and the girls. "We each have two girls within six months of each other. It's a strong argument to buy a house there and be near Ben. We'll see how the little kids do (in New York). If the winter is too tough, we might move to L.A. All my friends with kids live there."

horrible thing to say about him....it would be like saying that Celine is old

He's a father who doesn't like when the paps intrude on his family life .... Jennifer doesn't look too happy about it either.....
what do beards have to do with me thinking he looks pissed in most photo's, which he does. He may not like the paparazzi but he doesn't have to have this mad attitude about him all the time. he could smile once in awhile when he's with his kids.
Um, why? Do you think he really cares about the opinions of some nobody on the internet who thinks he should smile? Not everyone walks around with an idiot grin on their face all the time, and there's nothing wrong with that. In fact, many people, when they have no expression at all, look upset or angry even when they're not. I have that "problem," and often get told by total strangers to smile. It's a really obnoxious thing to say, and no, I will NOT smile for you. In fact, getting told to smile all the time is what does piss me off, so congratulations to people like CelineDionFanForever - you actually do make people angry when you tell others they should smile. (Also? Celine Dion? Really? Worst singer ever.)
Well CelineDionForever.. why didn't you say the last part "that he could smile once in a while with his kids instead of calling him a "psycho.."when he is picking up Violet from school he does not looks pissed... and excuse me for saying this but just because someone doesn't smile doesn't make him a psycho..O.K
OH GET OVER IT PEOPLE! it was MY, get that? MY opinion it wasn't as if I literally meant he is a freakin psycho, calm down and get over yourselves. I'm just saying he could crack a smile once in awhile for his kids and it wouldn't kill him even if he smiles in front of the paparazzi. I'm not even going to comment on your blatant rudeness about Celine because I'm not going to resort to name calling and act like a two year old. So whatever, bye.

I truly love this family!! So cute! One thing I notice, we usually don't see Ben looking that happy when the paparazzi is invading his privacy. But, if you look through the photos of him, you can see that he when he is unaware of his privacy being violated, he looks like he is a happy daddy. (haha gotta love the run-on sentence there). I know when my dad starts snapping thousands of photos, I get unhappy, and show it...and he's my dad, not a total stranger. :)
It makes no sense to expect Ben to behave like Hugh Jackman or Tom Cruise when the paparazzi are snapping pics of his family. It is comon knowledge that he does not condone this practice (nor does Jen, she handles it differently) and yet some people refuse to accept it. I think Ben is very handsome and in no way resembles a killer and/or psycho of anything of the sort. I take offense because I believe Ben is very devoted to his family and has stated in a number of interviews how he feels about his children being hounded by the paps.
Thanks for allowing me to rant and in parting, I love this beautiful family and welcome pics of them. One of my guilty pleasures is catching photos of Ben and Jen with their gorgeous girls. Thanks CBS. The pics are lovely.
I like this family. They seem really down to earth.
Jen needs to buy Ben some new Tee Shirts. Ben doesn't like to shop. Jen has to get rid of that holey shirt Ben is wearing. It is her wifely duty to get rid of that shirt. Please!
These Pictures of Jen and Ben where taken at the same time. They where coming from a concert at Violet's preschool. Ben looks upset that the paparazzi showed up at the school to take pictures on the weekend. They already have to put up with them on week days. Jen and Seraphina are walking a little ahead of Ben in some of pictures I have seen. They all went out to eat before or after the concert. Ben doesn't look so upset in those set of pictures.

My husband would have a fit if I threw out his favorite T shirt or favorite anything. LOL I didn't know that Ben did not like to shop but I don't think Jen is fond of shopping either. They both seem to hold on to stuff (clothes and shoes alike) forever. I love that about them, it's a part of their charm. They are just so *unpretentious*.
When they have to (for work) they always look great.

I think the reason Ben always looks so gruff is because
the only photos we see of him are paparazzi photos, and
there aren't too many celebrities who are parents who'd
be happy to see a mob of men with cameras stalking them
and their children. He has every right to be annoyed about
that.
I'm wondering why her legs are all bloodied and bruised?
They always look filthy, like they never shower. Maybe they are into that look. Anyway, it's nice to see that Violet can actually "walk on her own" without being carried all around. Kids 1/2 her age like Levi McCaunahey walk on their own all the time. She should too, and stop being coddled so much. It creates spoiled brats.

To all you people who think the Afflecks look miserable when the paps snap them with their family = maybe because it's repulsive and completely inappropriate? Matt Damon spends hundred of thousands of dollars so that paps don't snap him and his wife NOT spending time with their children. Who is the bigger hypocrit? This weeks' box office may decide that....
