Gwen Stefani Muses About Baby No. 3

No Doubt rocker Gwen Stefani shines in a brilliant blue Stella McCartney dress on the technicolor cover of the April 2010 issue of In Style magazine. In the interview the multi-talented mom-of-two talks about her mini-fashionista Kingston, 3, her "show-off" son Zuma, and whether she and her handsome hubby Gavin Rossdale have plans for baby #3.

Motherhood has been full of surprises for Gwen, who says, “No one could have prepared me for how awesome it is, and how hard.”

“It’s crazy how the second child is so different from the first, and has the same parents. They are totally different, and they look totally different,” she muses, noting that Kingston is all Gavin while little brother Zuma takes after mom.

Revealing that adorable Zuma is the "show-off" of the two boys, Gwen says, “He wants everyone to watch him, and he’s a goofball and he’s really silly. He’s a funny guy.”

Kingston, meanwhile, seems to have inherited mom's legendary flair for fashion.

“At that age they like to be in control of everything, so I let him choose," the L.A.M.B. designer says. "Luckily, everything in his closet is cute so no matter what he picks, he’s gonna look good. For a while he was into costumes. Now he doesn’t even want to wear shoes.”

So will she and Gavin go for baby #3? "I don't know," she admits, though she adds that at 40 years old she feels as though she's “running out of time.”

“I … don’t want to spread myself so thin that I can’t even be good for them. Poor Zuma, he’d be the middle guy," Gwen says. “I’m not focusing on it right now, but it’s not up to me anyway, you know? These things are miracles, so we’ll see.”
