Actress Brooke Shields and her two daughters – Rowan, 6, and Grier, 3 – were spotted out and about in Soho, New York City on their way to dinner at Balthazar on Wednesday (March 24).
The trio held hands and laughed as they made their way to the restaurant. Young Rowan carried with her a small puppy toy while her sister Grier snuggled a doll inside her jacket.
The 44-year-old mom-of-two recently opened up to Ladies Home Journal about her relationship with her own mother:
Her approval is still so important to me. I’ll see her and think, She’s going to say my hair’s too dark. She’s going to ask if I’ve gained weight. I might as well be 10. I’m confident in my own mothering, I’ve been making all my own decisions for a long time, but after all these years, I want my mom.
The girls’ father is Brooke’s husband of nine years, Chris Henchy.

Looking at this picture you would not think Grier and Rowan are three years apart, the look more like one year apart.
