David Arquette Reveals The Meaning Of Daughter's Name

Courteney Cox Arquette is keeping busy working on her television show Cougar Town, and filming the latest installment of the Scream thrillers, Scream 4, alongside husband David Arquette. The longtime couple, who met on the set of the original Scream film in 1996, are parents to 5 year-old daughter Coco, and recently revealed the possibility of expanding their family via adoption. The proud papa visited Lopez Tonight and revealed the origin of Coco's name, saying, "It's sort of an abbreviation of 'COurtney COx' ... 'CoCo'," reports US Weekly.

The Never Been Kissed star, who married his wife in 1999, also shared that he was immediately smitten with Courteney, taking a small role in the original film to have the opportunity to work with her. Of his role of "Deputy Dewey," Arquette says, "'That's a nothing role, what are you talking about?' And I said, 'I get to kiss Courteney Cox ... I wanna play that role!'"

Arquette's most recent film, The Land of the Astronauts co-starring Vivica A. Fox is set to hit theaters this year.
