Think Pink: Christine Costner Celebrates Her Shower
| Apr 13, 2010 by JENNY SCHAFER |

Kevin Costner and his lovely wife Christine are expecting their third child this summer - and Celebrity Baby Scoop can reveal that it's a girl!
Christine was joined by 50 of her closest friends at the The Four Seasons Resort: The Biltmore in Santa Barbara, Calif. to celebrate her baby shower on Sunday (April 11).
In a statement released to Celebrity Baby Scoop, it sounds like Christine had a great time:
It was an intimate, special day celebrating with my close friends and family," Christine said. "I especially loved the Pink Citron candles that adorned each place setting and the gift bags were a wonderful surprise- everyone left with a big smile!"
The expectant mom was showered with some amazing gifts to help welcome her first daughter. Some of them include:
- Joovy Ergo Caboose Stroller
- Ju-Ju Be's 'Be Spicy Mint Julep Tote'
- Products from Itzy Ritzy, including washable snack bags
Christine wasn't the only one receiving gifts. All guests left with Le Sport Sac tots filled with goodies including:
Christine and Kevin are already parents to sons Cayden Wyatt, 2, and Hayes Logan, 1.

Congratulations to Christine Kevin Cayden Hayes
Congratulations! I bet they have cute kids - she is so beautiful!
i thought you only had a shower for your first baby, unless you're ghetto.
That used to be the case, but lately more and more people (not just celebs) seem to be having second showers, especially if the baby is a different gender.
Family and friends are always going to want to buy gifts for the new mommy, daddy and baby, even if you already have ten kids. Personally, I don't think there needs to be an organized "shower" for each baby, but I do plan on registering for my next one just because I know people will want to/are going to buy stuff anyways.
Those kids are so close together.....I know they have nannies and all but it must be hard to give individual attention to all the kids.
