Sandra Bullock Plans To Co-Parent Stepchildren

Sandra Bullock plans to play a role in the lives of Jesse James‘ children even though she has filed for divorce from their father.

The Academy Award-winning actress – who has filed for divorce from the Monster Garage host following allegations he cheated on her with several women – says she still wants to play a role in the lives of Chandler, 15, Jesse Jr., 12, and Sunny, 6.

Sandy B told People she can’t imagine life without her stepchildren.

I don’t want to know what life is like without those kids. Whatever we need to do, in the healthiest way, we are going to be co-parenting.”

The 45-year-old Hope Floats star announced she had adopted a 3-month-old baby boy, Louis Bardo, in January with Jesse but will now be raising him as a single parent.

Speaking about the break-up, Sandra said: “I’m sad and I’m scared.”

Jesse, 41, has also spoken out about the divorce, saying losing Sandra and giving up parental rights to Louis is the “hardest” thing he has ever faced.

“My whole life has been full of hard decisions,” James said. “The decision to let my wife end our marriage, and continue the adoption of Louis on her own, has been the hardest. The love I have for Louis cannot be put to words. Not having him around to love and to hold has left a huge hole in my heart.”

  1. Jesse is not alone sandis kid too

So Sandi get back together with your cheating husband.. like what Elin is
doing .. since you accept Jesse’s kids as your own.. what are they going
to spend time in New Orleans too??>> How stupid is it to put your name
as Louis last name when it should be Bullock James..Since you two are
both co parenting him and his step sibling.s

      Really? REALLY? COME ON!
She’s NOT back with Jesse, she wants the whole co-parenting thing because she has raised these kids for about 5, 6 years! The older ones (the boy and the girl) maybe doesn’t need her like…in a 100%, but Sunny has been raised by Sandra and Jesse. These kids need a role model in their lives, and Sandra HAS to be that.

Sandra will always be the ‘mother’ for these kids. I mean…a drug-addict mom and a cheating/nazi father? I think he’s a good dad for his children, though. But, you know…they need Sandra on their lives.

YOU GO, SANDRA! Also, i love little Louis. He’s super cute!

Wow, you are just one messed up little creature, aren’t you? A mother’s love is unrelated to whether one’s husband is a douche bag. After 5+ years, those kids are children of her heart, and I applaud the selflessness of anyone who makes the welfare of the children his/her priority, especially in such trying circumstances. She is publicly stating for the record that James’ children are still important to her and still loved by her, regardless of the status of her relationship with their father. That is what being a parent is all about.

wow, she wants to be their for her step children, which she considers her own and she gets critcized. Sandra loves them and still wants to be a part of their lives, and she has her new son to think about who deserves to have his siblings and father in his life.

I think it’s honorable to want to be a part of those children’s lives. I’m sure they’re confused and saddened by the divorce and happy that she wants to stick around. The children didn’t do anything to deserve to be dropped just because their father messed up. Nothing but respect for her decision.
