The split between Gabriel Aubry and Halle Berry may not be as cut and dry as it has seemed up to this point. RadarOnline is reporting that Aubry has concerns regarding the well-being of the couples’ 2-year-old daughter, Nahla. Aubry is said to be considering hiring lawyers and pursuing a custody battle to bring Nahla back to his native Canada.
A source close to the situation has revealed that Aubry is also upset with reports circulating that Oscar winner Berry kicked him out as he was not “pulling his weight,” saying, “Until the news of their split broke things were OK between him and Halle, but now he believes Halle’s team are putting all these stories out there that are just not true.Gabriel is not happy at how he is being portrayed, as some kind of dead beat dad that was living off of Halle and her celebrity. It couldn’t be any further from the truth.”
Aubry is said to be considering his options at this point, and the source adds, “He loves that little girl more than anything, and he will fight tooth and nail to give her a decent, balanced, normal life away from the craziness of Hollywood.”
Just read that he dumped Halle because of the age difference. Seems both sides are planting stories. Possible to believe both stories. Who knows the truth but some men have been known to live off more successful women by requesting custody (i.e., Kevin Federline). So sad for Nahla in any case.
Why would he even think he could win this? Obvioiusly, Halle is a good and caring mom to her child.

I wouldn’t say poor taste as much as completely bizarre. Your comment makes no sense. Losing Isaiah was about a drug addict who abandons her baby and her fight to get him back from the woman who tries to adopt him. How on earth would Halle’s real life situation remind you of that?
Halle has a troubled past ie thought of killing herself,hit and run etc.All of her relationships have been toxic 1st.husband beat her,2nd husband cheated on her.I believe that Gabriel was the only gentleman in her life.Halle seems to thrive when she has chaos in her life and Gabriel seemed to have a calming effect on her and she didn’t know how to handle it.Some might say that Halle has a “Personality Disorder” now whom would you thinki is best for the baby?

Give me a break. At least this guy has an idea of what a lifetime of Halle Berry’s craziness might do to his kid. She’s a nutjob and just because she takes a pretty picture doesn’t mean she’s a decent mother. She’s like the worst kind of publicity hound.
I really hope this story isn’t true. Hopefully they deal with this as privately as possible and Nahla gets to spend time with both her parents equally.

Yep this woman is indeed the definition of classless. I thought that he was way too good for her from the very beginning. Who remembers her making out with Jamie Foxx at the scream awards? Ughhhh. Wonder what Gabriel thought of that at the time.
I don’t believe these stories at all. They have always stayed out of the tabloids as much as possible so it would be strange to suddenly jump into it.

This Jerk only wants custody of that child because he’ll get a hefty child support payment each month! $700,000 p/year for modeling is chump change compared to Halle’s MILLIONS per movie. I always thought he was up to something! Believe me he doesn’t want to TICK Halle off especially when it comes to a child she carried for 9 months. I have seen more photos of the child with Halle than JERKO! This guy never ever smiles even when photograped with Nahla!
