Charlie Sheen has surrendered legal custody of his two daughters – Sam, 6, and Lola, 5 in June – to their mother Denise Richards, TMZ reports.
Reportedly, Charlie and Denise signed a written agreement stating that Denise now has full legal custody of their two daughters. Prior to this, Charlie and Denise had joint legal custody.
Sources say Denise wanted full legal custody due to Charlie’s current marital turmoil, sobriety issues and criminal problems.
Now that Denise has full legal custody, she can make medical, schooling and other important decisions without getting Charlie’s approval. She can also leave the country with the kids without Charlie’s permission.

Yep, this is great for Denise and the girls. She is a wonderful mum and is doing the best she can for her family. Hopefully Charlie will straighten himself out one day so that he can once again be a part of his girls’ lives.
I feel so sorry for these little girls. Denise is the lesser of two evils!
Full custody doesn’t prevent Charlie from being a part of their lives. Just removes major decision making from his hands.
