Bristol Palin Doesn't Count On Parents For Financial Support

Teen mom Bristol Palin is paying the bills just like most parents, supporting herself and son Tripp by working a full-time job. Palin told PEOPLE that despite her mom’s reported millions, she does not receive any financial support from ex-vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin and husband Todd, “[My parents] are there for support when I need it emotionally, but I’m on my own financially. I work an 8-to-5 job, five days a week. My parents help out, but they’re not at my disposal. I think that’s a huge misconception.”

The teen abstinence and safe-sex advocate also says most of her earnings go towards supplies and childcare for 16-month-old son Tripp, “I’d say the majority of any paycheck I ever receive is going to Tripp. Child care is very expensive, formula is expensive, diapers are expensive – and you don’t think about that as a kid, at all.”

Palin may rest a bit easier now, TMZ is reporting that ex-boyfriend Levi Johnston is taking on some of the financial burden. Johnston has paid $21,000 in back child support and the past two months has paid the agreed upon monthly amount of $1,750 on time.

Despite the challenges she faces as teenage mother working full-time, Palin is determined to have a college education, “I’m trying to chip away as much as I can on college, but this semester it was nearly impossible. I want to beat that statistic of teen moms not graduating from college.”

If she lives in her parents’ home then she’s getting financial support. Housing expenses are huge in help allay expenses. But I am glad the Levi is taking financial responsibility for his child. Many young fathers run in the other direction when faced with the responsibility. I dislike Sarah Palin and her family but I wish them the best with regard to the task ahead of them regarding Bristol, Tripp & Levi. Its best for Tripp for all to get along.

I agree. If she’s living at home, then she’s receiving financial help from her parents. When she’s out on her own paying for rent, utilities, food, diapers, formula, baby food, clothes, a car, and gas, then she can claim she’s doing it on her own without help from the Palins.

I AGREE SHE IS BEING FINANCIALLY SUPPORTED BY HER PARENTS, LIVING IN A NICE HOUSE, SHE’S NOT PAYING RENT, UTILITIES, FOOD, ETC. SHE IS SO MUCH LIKE HER MOTHER (TOTALLY FULL OF IT) LEVI JOHNSTON IS SUPPORTING HER, HOW MANY FATHERS DO YOU KNOW OF PAY $1,750 A MONTH FOR ONE CHILD, SO WHO IS KIDDING, IT JUST GOES TO SHOW “THE APPLE NEVER FALLS FAR FROM THE TREE”.

how about who f*ckn cares….she’s not doing anything that no one else in her situation is doing and 1750 a month in CS—-should cover all of the babys needs so her paycheck is really going to her own needs…what a crock of sh*t
