Suri Cruise Loves Her iPad
| Jun 3, 2010 by CAROLYN ROBERTSON |

The Apple iPad is the latest must-have accessory, so it's no surprise that trendy tot Suri Cruise is a fan of the high-tech gadget.
Life & Style reports that 4-year-old Suri kept herself busy playing games on her iPad while out for dinner at New York's Il Cantinori restaurant last week with her parents Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.
Adorable Suri is known for her trend-setting fashion sense as well. Her doting dad recently told Oprah Winfrey, "She likes to dress herself and wears whatever she wants to wear. She wants to wear it, she wears it... a girl wants to wear what she wants to wear. I'm not gonna tell her different. She's got great taste."

a four year old with her own ipad? I mean I know she's suri cruise but that seems like a little much.
A little much for who? You? Then don't buy your kid one.
Just because she was playing with it doesn't mean that it was HER'S.
They should be teaching her how to behave at a nice restaurant, how to have conversation, etc. not just whip out an iPad!
She's four. At that age anything you can do to keep them quiet and not ruining the meal for everybody around them is a good thing.
She is probably "reading" the Pooh stories or the Toy story with narration on the interactive screen! Why not?
How do they know it was hers? Tom or Katie probably let her use it while they were at dinner to keep her occupied. Life & Style is so dumb.
I have one my son uses it in dr waiting rooms, and at resurants. He's 2, so for him actually being still is a good thing. They probally use theirs like mine to keepnsuri entrained so they can have adult conversation. Nothing wrong with that at all.
Another confirmation that she's a spoiled brat
reckon they've downloaded any scientology apps? lol
yet another ridiculous thing they indulge this spoiled brat with.
There's no doubt suri is spoiled, but how do you know she's a brat? Maybe she is the biggest spoiled brat, but maybe she's the sweetest most grateful four year old there is! We'll never know! Either way I hope she enjoys her nice things. Oh and what is it with life&style and their "sources"? They also seem to have a really weird obsession about this kid, do they ever not mention her in a magazine?
yea show me a kid thats spoiled and not a brat? I don't know any and by spoiled I mean given EVERYTHING they want EVERYTIME they want it and are NEVER told NO, those kids ARE brats. Not kids that get a new toy once in awhile or get to pick what they wear once in awhile, I'm talking about kids like Suri who totally dominate their parents lives and tell THEM what to do.
absolutely!!! well said!!
Sorry but I had spoiled and indulged children but they were certainly not brats. They behaved, used manners, showed respect, etc. You can be fortunate and not be bratty.
OMG, people are mad that suri has an ipad. you guys are so ridic....lol it costs a dime to them. too bad you aren't as rich as they are.
This kid gets what ever she wants. They (her crazy parents) let her make all the decisions. This is just an observation, but I'd bet she is a spoiled brat.
"This kid gets what ever she wants. They (her crazy parents) let her make all the decisions. "
And you know this because you live with them? I love the assumptions people make by just looking at pictures.
Another spoiled celebrity troll. She'll probably turn out like Michael Douglas' kid. Drug addict, then jail.
If I could get my kids their own Ipad I think I would. I have one, and my kids LOVE to use it. One is 5 and the other is 2.5. I would not let them use it all the time, but there are times when it would be nice to let them use them both have their own.
But, that is NEVER going to happen. It's not in our budget.
Suri looks retarded

You must suffer from myopia.
haha....whateves.
what a minute, did the ipad have suri cruise beddazzled on it? how do we know its actually hers? just because tom can afford to buy her one doesnt mean that he's not like milions of other parents that dont mind letting their kinds play with their stuff. i defy anyone to go out and not see at least a dozen kinds playing with their parents cellphones or ipods. ITS NORMAL. STOP TRYING TO MAKE IT LIKE ITS NOT JUST BEACUSE ITS TOM CRUISE.
@ CDionFan21- Just because you haven't met a kid that is spoiled and bratty doesn't mean there all like that. I guess you could say I grew up kind of spoiled, I mean i didn't get every single I wanted at the second I wanted, but I did get a lot, and I was definitely no where near a spoiled brat. just cause a kid gets nice things, especially when their parents can afford it, doesn't mean their parents don't teach them to be grateful, respectful and appreciative. It all depends on the parenting.
People are making waaayyy too much of this- buying an iPad for them is probably like buying a Leapfrog for the rest of us, except the iPad has much more functionality. I really don't see the big deal- it sounds like she uses it just like any non-celeb kid would a Gameboy. Give the whole "she's so spoiled" thing a rest, as not a single one of us know what this family is actually like.
