Michael Jacksons' Children As "Normal" as Normal Can Be Expected

June 25th will mark the 1 year anniversary of the death of the King of Pop Michael Jackson, who sadly left behind his three young children.

One year later, Prince, 13, Paris, 12, and Blanket, 8, are under the care of grandmother Katherine Jackson, and according to attorney Adam Streisand, the children are "as normal as normal can be under pretty extraordinary circumstances," with the extended family playing a large role in helping the children cope with their loss.

Family matriarch Katherine has revealed to the London Daily Mail that she misses Michael "everyday," and is raising her grandchildren, "a little less strict," than Michael would have. Katherine then shared, "But they don’t have friends. They don’t go to school. They have private lessons at home. They’ll be going to a private school in September for the first time."

She touched on how deeply affected the children are after losing their father, saying that Paris has created a shrine in her room of photos of her late father, saying, "So she goes to bed looking at him and wakes up looking at him. Paris has that lovely way like Michael, and I see his talent in her. Whatever she does she’s very good at it. She’s a good artist and plays the piano. She wants to be an actress."

She also said that both Prince and Blanket have inherited some of their fathers talents, as Prince hopes to be a film producer, while Blanket has a "sense of playfulness."
