Mel Gibson has filed a restraining order against the mother of his 7-month-old daughter, RadarOnline reports.
In a breaking development in his bitter breakup with Oksana Grigorieva, the 54-year-old Lethal Weapon star submitted the legal paperwork at the Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday (June 23).
The case is sealed and the documents cannot be released to the public. However, the document reportedly centers around three issues and Gibson’s access to daughter Lucia.
Gibson’s rep had no comment when contacted by RadarOnline.
After over a year of dating, the couple parted ways in April. Shortly after the breakup, Grigorieva made a public statement about their split.
I can tell you that..we have split up, suddenly and recently. Unfortunately, I cannot give you the reason. But you will find out everything quite soon. Here is the official version: We split up by mutual consent and we will raise our daughter together. She is currently with my mother in my Los Angeles home.”
