| Jul 2, 2010 by BETH SHEA |
When we asked you whether your mommy style was more 'Posh' or 'Jen,' the majority of you answered: somewhere in between! Most of you love the chic yet down-to-earth clothes that Jessica Alba wears, and others noted your affinity for the wardrobes of Isla Fisher, Cate Blanchett, Naomi Watts and Gwen Stefani!
Click below to read more about each hip mama's style!
The celebrity mom whose style you love the most is Jessica Alba... and it's easy to see why! Honor Marie's mom always manages to look effortlessly put together and adorable, whether she's grocery shopping or touring the streets of Paris. Jessica's style features quintessential California girl gear, from trendy gladiator heels to cargo pants, oversized sunglasses, ripped and faded jeans and denim frocks. Whether fresh-faced or fully made-up, Jessica always shines from the inside out.
Isla Fisher embodies the spirit of a California bohemian, with her love of bold, colorful prints and relaxed, flowy ensembles. Her movie star status is punctuated by her very hip Aviator style shades, and the actress and mom of 2 1/2 year old Olive, with a baby also on the way, is always looking like her favorite role is as her daughter's mommy.
Maybe it has something to do with having played the Queen in so many royal roles... because in real life, Cate Blanchett looks downright regal and stunning, even with her three young sons in tow, Dashiell, 8, Roman, 6, and Ignatius, 2.
The fashion forward actress reveals the small indulgences that keep her refreshed saying,
I like having a bath and a facial. The children understand that when I have the mask on, it’s mummy time - it’s the working mother’s best friend, because you may be exhausted, but you don’t want people to know. I might also relax in the evening with a vodka and tonic.
Here Blanchett stands out by wearing cherry red frames. Her maroon overcoat in this picture dresses up jeans and boots, and here we get a peek at her playful stockings, which add flair to her winter look.
Naomi Watts is another mom who always glows with radiance and great style while out and about with her family. Mom of precious boys Sasha, 2 1/2, and Kai, 1, She may try to go incognito under a fedora, but she can't hide her star presence. She's also seen often carrying her boys via piggyback, complementing her get-ups even further by toting a handsome little lad! And even while flying solo with her 2 young boys, Naomi Watts manages to look adorable upon touch down. One of her best accessories is her glowing smile, seen here while giving her son a lift.
Last but not least, fashion designer and rock star Gwen Stefani is never seen out on the town without looking polished and effortlessly put together. Her style is punctuated by her signature red lips, sky high heels, and gorgeous outfits that also suit her mommy lifestyle.
Here Gwen looks hippie-chic in her long, flowy dress, while also looking like a total earth mama alongside her boys, Kingston, 4 and Zuma, 1. Gwen also rocks casual styles with flair, dressing up baggy denim capri pants with stylish wedges and a blazer. The superstar also knows to protect her flawless pale skin from the sun while beach-going by wearing a wide-brimmed sun hat accessorized with a pattered scarf.
All of these stylish celebrity moms get our vote for knowing how to make mommyhood like fashionable! Who is your mommy style icon?
