Kelis: Nas And I Get Along Good Now

Milkshake singer Kelis and rapper Nas split last April, while the singer was 7-months-pregnant with son Knight. After a bitter feud over child/spousal support, with Knight's first birthday on the horizon, the two have mended some of the tensions in their relationship, and in an interview with US Weekly, the singer opened up about life post-split

On her relationship with Nas: "Yeah everything's fine. We are divorced, but there is no point to fighting -- there is nothing to fight about. I am super happy; my life is awesome. We are friends, we get along now and it's all good."

On son Knight: "He is hilarious! He claps, he snaps and he waves. He is a shrunken little person and has a lot of personality."

On her inspiration for her new album: "Pregnancy gives a woman a strong sense of validation. [When you're pregnant], you wake up everyday and internally everything is working perfectly and you look at the world and everything sort of fits together. It's hard not to realize there is a creator and he created all of us."
