American Idol alum Constantine Maroulis can’t wait to be a daddy!
“It’s a beautiful thing,” he tells PEOPLE. “It’s part of life.”
The 34-year-old singer, who is currently expecting baby no. 1 with his girlfriend, actress Angel Reed, says he’s preparing for fatherhood by “just living every day right now, trying to do good work and provide for my family long term”.
“I’m looking forward to the road ahead, definitely,” he adds.
Maroulis and Angel met last year while costarring in the Broadway musical Rock of Ages. The couple announced their pregnancy just last month.
I just love Constantine and his first album which he put out himself is one of my favorites. Congrats to them both.
