No Reality Show For Bristol Palin & Levi Johnston

Reconciled couple Bristol Palin & Levi Johnston were recently featured on the cover of US Weekly, announcing that they are back together, and engaged.

The two, who are parents to 1 1/2-year-old son Tripp, have reportedly been contacting networks to find a home for a reality show featuring their lives. An attorney for the Palin family, Thomas Van Flein, told Radar Online that this is not the case,

While several networks have pitched different concepts, Bristol and Levi have not signed any deal for a reality show about their relationship. Bristol has not agreed to participate in any show. Her focus remains on doing what is best for Tripp and her family.”

A friend of the family also revealed how Bristol’s parents, former vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin and husband Todd feel about the engagement, saying that they “are not supportive of this,” and adding, “They remember the harsh words and the hurtful actions of just a few months ago. It’s going to take time for them to accept Levi—if it even happens at all.”

Bristol and Levi split in March 2009 only three months after Tripp’s birth. They were then embattled in a bitter custody dispute, with Bristol declaring in the May, 2010 issue of Harper’s Bazaar, “Levi is a stranger to me.”
