Kate Winslet Finds Her Co-Parenting Solution

Kate Winslet is making sure she doesn't cross paths with soon-to-be ex-husband Sam Mendes while co-parenting.

Her recent routine has been to leave their formal New York City apartment and go to work on the set of her latest TV project Mildred Pierce. After she drives off, Sam arrives at the apartment to take 9-year-old Mia, Kate's daughter with her first husband Jim Threapleton, and their 6-year-old son Joe to school.

He then goes to his office in the same building and leaves before Kate returns home with the kids after picking them up from school.

Kate and Sam are also expected to each live separately with the kids for a few weeks in the home they bought together in England at the beginning of their marriage.

The former couple married in 2003 and announced their split in March of this year. Career wise, the 34-year-old actress is also going in another direction. She's signed up to star in a romantic comedy with actor Bradley Cooper.

asked if she is responsible for the break up ....and she said no!!! That Jon
was responsible...

I thought I had read that they were going on vacation together to try and reconcile... Maybe I'm mistaking (or the source was not credible)?

She is so gorgeous. I wonder what role does her first husband play in the co-parenting? Anyway, I wish the best for her as one of her biggest fans.

Um, that's not co-parenting. That's ignoring the existence of the other parent.

Ooh dear. They can't even stand to be around each other for a few minutes to see the kids off safely? I'm not passing judgements but that's pretty sad.
