Ali Larter Reveals Her Pregnancy Craving

Ali Larter loves that she can eat whatever she wants during her pregnancy. People reports that the actress was at Comic-Con in San Diego on Saturday (July 25) promoting her latest flick Resident Evil: Afterlife when she revealed her current craving.

She said, “I bake myself strawberry shortcakes and then I wake up at three in the morning and I eat them.”

Larter, who announced her pregnancy last week, also added that she enjoys the freedom of not worrying how she looks.

I love it because so much of the time, I have to be careful,” Larter says. “I work out. I play certain roles where it’s important for me to look a certain way. But now it’s just freedom. It’s like, bring on the Sprinkles cupcakes, pizza, pasta. I’m loving it!”

Ali and her husband Hayes MacArthur were married last year. They will be celebrating their first wedding anniversary on August 1st.

Good for her for being able to be more relaxed in her eating, the only thing that makes me cringe is how alot of mothers (that I know) felt so relaxed and happy that they could eat whatever that they ended up gaining a ton of weight and wonder why?..

a pregnant woman only needs in addition 3-400 extra calories a day. What uncareful eating will do is lead to diabetes type II among other health problems. Despite the fact that culture says pregnant woman eats for 2, for the health of both mom and baby, mom needs to watch her diet. Her eating habits have even been shown to influence the baby’s diet in the future and baby’s chance of developing obesity.
